An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and driven professional to join our highly regarded organisation in the role of Communications & Content Specialist on a 12-month contract basis.This role presents a rare opportunity to join an innovative not-for-profit aged care provider, working across award-winning residential care, a growing home care operation and the launch of an exciting new ‘M by Montefiore’ luxury seniors’ living complex launching mid-2020.If you are an individual who thrives on opportunity, innovation and excellence then we would very much like to hear from you.The RoleWorking closely with the Group Marketing and Communications Manager and in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders you will produce internal and consumer brand communications, and develop, create and write engaging and relevant content across print and digital platforms.In addition, you will be responsible for (but not limited to);Writing media releases, articles and blog postsWorking closely with stakeholders to take internal and consumer communications projects from brief to production stage.Creating and maintaining a digital content calendar.Creating and managing distribution of EDMs, including scheduling and analysisCreating engaging, on-brand social media content by using writing, photography and videography.What we require:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Media, Journalism or similar.Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a communications, media, marketing or PR roleExcellence in copywriting on multiple platformsExcellence in written and verbal communication with an eye for detail and proofreading skillsHigh level of practical and strategic experience with digital and social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), email marketing software and Google Analytics.Good working knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe Creative Suite and Wordpress.Proven competency with photography and videography equipment including basic editing software.Well-developed project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders internally and in the wider community and industry sector.A practical understanding of the Jewish culture and community would be advantageous (but not essential)This role is based in Randwick and may require travel between our four Sydney metro facilities.
