We have opportunities available working within the Eastern Suburbs.  The Role:Being a key member of the Physiotherapy and wider allied health team, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and provision of care and support for your consumers in their pain, falls prevention management, rehabilitation and physical mobility care needs. Our wellness centre is purpose built to support provision of non-pharmacological pain management and is well equipped to support the treatment and rehabilitation needs of our consumers as well as on site Hydrotherapy and state of the art HUR gym equipment.  As a skilled professional you will be required to maintain high quality professional documentation when care planning, assessing and providing treatments for our consumers in meeting ACQS and ACFI assessments validation and auditing purposes and ensure treatment goals and plans are regularly evaluated using accepted outcome measurement tools where possible.Essential criteria:Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with current registration with AHPRAAquatic Therapy experienceEfficient time management and priority setting skillsKnowledge of the relevant legislation applicable to Residential Aged Care Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work well within a teamDemonstrated ability to effectively work independentlyDesirable Criteria:Working knowledge of the accreditation standards and consumer directed careSound working knowledge of ACFI processes Previous involvement with falls prevention programs and managementExperience with providing effective pain managementExperience with complex case managementExperience with supporting consumers with Dementia About you:You will have a true passion and genuine interest in working in an aged care environment and possess exceptional interpersonal skills along with excellent clinical capabilities and judgement.
